Day 01: Arrival-Local sightseeing (27 km)
Arrival Srinagar, meeting up with assistance & transfer to Dlx. Houseboat / Hotel. PM: Visit to famous Mughal Gardens Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar, laid out in the 16th century along the banks of Dal-lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple on a hillock. Enjoy the panoramic view of the entire city, Dal-lake & river Jehlum. En-route visiting handloom centre famous for Pashmina / Shahtoos shawls & world renowned carpets, evening back to Dlx. Houseboat / Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (112 km)
Leave after breakfast for full day excursion to Gulmarg “Meadow of wild flowers�? which lies to the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms, at an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, surrounded by snow capped mountains, on a clear sunny day Nanga Parbat can be seen. It is premier winter sports destination for skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf course. For joy seekers, cable car upto Alpather via Khilanmarg by Asia’s long run cable car ride about 5 kms. PM: leave for boat ride to explore the Dal lake, waterways, floating gardens, vegetables gardens, water lilies, lotus flowers, mobile vendors, floating handicraft centre, witness the inherited lifestyle inside the lake since decades. Evening return back to Dlx. Houseboat / Hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 03: Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar (192 km)
After breakfast leave for full day tour to Pahalgam (96 kms) to the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts. above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, high altitude mountain lakes, it also offers 9 hole golf course, skiing, pony trails, angling(rainbow & brown trout’s), horse ridding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Lidderwat valley, Kolhai Glacier, Shesh Nag, Chandanwari (route to Amarnath holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for 9th century old Shiva Temple. Evening back to Dlx. Houseboat / Hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 04: Srinagar-Departure.
Morning free till departure transfer for Srinagar airport to board the scheduled flight for onward destination.
